Join us for the Chamber Advantage Series session for Part Two of Hiring, Training and Retaining Volusia County's Best!, Attracting, Finding, and Identifying the Right People held at Daytona State College located at 1200 W. International Speedway Blvd., Daytona Beach, (Building 150, Room 101) on Monday, May 22, from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Guest Panel Speakers are Linda Bowers, director of sales & marketing for Residence Inn by Marriott; Kahlin Grant, talent acquisition manager with Synergy Billing; Katie Mentor, vice president marketing for WSBB Radio, and Ellen Reynolds, staffing manager with Randstad USA. The panel will be moderated by John Ward, business coach with Business Traction Center.
This quarterly series was implemented under the leadership of the Small Business Committee, as a means to engage, grow, and positively influence the small business community. The upcoming program, sponsored by Florida Hospital and Daytona Beach News-Journal, will feature an informative and useful talk on preventing "brain drain" in the region whereby young, talented people leave the area for job prospects elsewhere.
The event is $10 for Chamber Members with 24-hour advance RSVP, $15 day of the event, and $20 for future members.
