DAYTONA REGIONAL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE TO HOLD LEGISLATIVE AWARDS LUNCHEON

 Daytona Beach, FL - The Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce will hold a Legislative Awards Luncheon on Friday, May 20, 2011 at the Holiday Inn LPGA in Daytona Beach.

 Sponsored by University of Central Florida, the luncheon will be held from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn LPGA in Daytona Beach and will highlight the efforts of our local legislators. Each of our delegation’s legislators has been invited and is expected to be present at the luncheon. They will be honored for their work in Tallahassee and Washington on behalf of Volusia County over the past year.

 “As a former legislative aide to the Honorable William E. Sublette, I can appreciate the challenges that our legislators face balancing priorities and diverse opinions of constituents,” stated Tom Leek, Cobb Cole and Chairman of the Daytona Regional Chamber. “We tracked several important bills for business and lobbied hard. Now it’s time for the business community to recognize the legislators that came through for business, and we hope the entire community will join with us.”

 The Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce serves over 1,100 business members from all 16 cities and also in and out of the area and state of Florida.
