"The sports commission plays a significant role in the Central Florida region and I believe there are considerable opportunities to support economic development through sports. I will miss the Winter Park Chamber but feel good leaving it in a better place after six enjoyable years."
The partnership between the Sports Commission and the Chamber dates back to the late 1990's and has seen many benefits to the community in the form of numerous events and the relocation of thte USTA Florida Section.
We would like to invite all of those interested in bringing sports to our area to come out to welcome Sam to our community and hear his vision for sporting events in Volusia County.
Check-in will be from 11:45 with the lunch and presentation at 12 noon. The cost is $20 for Chamber members and $30 for non-members and reservations are required. To register please call Gail Miller with the Chamber at 255-0981, ext. 229.
