Join us on August 16 for a Tallahassee Speaker Series event reviewing 13 the proposed amendments that will be on the November 6 ballot. These amendments cover a number of topics related to state government from an additional homestead exemption, a non-homestead property assessment cap, offshore oil drilling, indoor vaping, greyhound racing, increasing the retirement age for judicial officials, super-majority approval of tax/fee increases, voter control of gambling and more. The Chamber has arranged several speakers to explain the pros and cons of each amendment and what they mean to the voting public.
This event takes place at The Palmetto Club, 1000 S. Beach Street in Daytona Beach from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. with a social hour from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. Your admission includes one drink and assorted appetizers during the social hour.
