Objectives:
The Leadership Daytona program is designed for our community’s active leaders. The three-month course featured classes about current issues facilitated by high-level community leaders combining interactive situations and information into their presentations, and an MBA-style case study from a local CEO for the class to solve.
Mission: To continue to cultivate and develop a broad-based network of leaders who will serve our community through active involvement resulting in positive contributions to the greater Volusia County area.
Understanding the critical need of having talented workers to sustain our business community in the future, the Daytona Regional Chamber's Workforce & Education Committee meets on a monthly basis.
These key stakeholders to focus on the workforce development, talent attraction/retention, and leadership development needs of the region.
In partnership with CareerSource Flagler Volusia and Volusia County Schools, the Daytona Regional Chamber provides YouScience®, a digital skills assessment that helps students uncover their natural abilities and align those skills to in-demand career fields.
It's all part of maximizing the opportunities for each individual student and retaining the homegrown talent emerging from our local schools.
