Join us on June 5 for a Tallahassee Speaker Series event featuring Cissy Proctor, executive director, Florida Dept of Economic Opportunity in the Dennis McGee Room at the Daytona Beach International Airport. The program will run from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m., and will be followed by a social hour from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.
This program is designed for employers, real estate developers as well as city and county officials involved with economic development and will focus on growing Volusia County’s economy through attraction of new employers and expansion of existing businesses. Topics will include Florida’s economic development incentives including brownfield redevelopment tax refund, building materials redevelopment tax refund, capital investment tax credit, community contribution tax credit, urban crime area job tax credit, small business technology growth program, high-impact performance incentive grants, as well as other programs.
