Join the Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce for its upcoming Chamber Advantage Series session on Hiring, Training and Retaining Volusia County's Best!, held at Daytona State College (1200 W. International Speedway Blvd., Daytona Beach), Building 150, on Monday, March 27 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Moderator John Ward, Business Traction Center will guide a discussion with three local business leaders who have dealt with, and grown through, these very issues. Our speaker panel will consist of: M. Jayson Meyer, CEO, Synergy Billing; Jeff Hawk, President, Overhead Door Co.; Charlie Van Derven, President, Social Advisors.
The quarterly series was implemented under the leadership of the Small Business Committee, as a means to engage, grow, and positively influence the small business community. The upcoming program, sponsored by Florida Hospital and Daytona Beach News-Journal, will feature an informative and useful talk on preventing "brain drain" in the region.
The event is $10 to attend for Chamber Members to attend with 24-hour advance RSVP, $15 at the door, and $20 for future members. A reception will follow the panel discussion.
