Florida is now the third most populous state and by 2030, 26 million Floridians will call Florida home and 1.5 million more jobs will be needed. To prepare for this continued growth and ensure Florida remains successful, the Florida Chamber Foundation has released the blueprint for Florida’s future — Florida 2030. Join us for the Tallahassee Speaker Series to hear about areas in which Volusia County is leading the charge, areas that need improvement, and how you can be part of ensuring the future success of our region and state.
Donna Wright, Chief Operating Officer, Florida Chamber Foundation, will discuss the six pillars supporting Florida's future success, including job creation, infrastructure, business climate and quality of life. This two-year research program engaged business and community leaders in each of Florida’s 67 counties and identified key trends and the factors that drive their regional economies.
Admission is $25 with advanced registration, $35 on the day of the event. This Tallahassee Speakers Series event is sponsored by AT&T, CareerSource Flagler Volusia, and Daytona Beach News-Journal.
