In partnership with CareerSource Flagler Volusia and Volusia County Schools, the Daytona Regional Chamber provides YouScience®, a digital skills assessment that helps students uncover their natural abilities and align those skills to in-demand career fields.
Using this innovative career exploration tool, middle school and high school students can gain valuable insight regarding future employment possibilities. Following the completion of their assessment, students receive a comprehensive and individualized profile, plus information on career pathways including a Day in the Life, average salary information, educational investment required, and even which companies in the area hire people with their skills.
It's all part of maximizing the opportunities for each individual student and retaining the homegrown talent emerging from our local schools.
