Webb Shephard Accepted Into the Partnership of James Moore

James Moore & Company is pleased to congratulate William Webster “Webb” Shephard, CPA, for his admission into the partnership effective Nov. 1. 

A member of the firm for over ten years, Webb is a member of James Moore’s Construction and Government Services teams and has been instrumental in the advancement of those segments. He has also led the firm in the implementation of new lease standards from both the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB). These standards significantly changed the accounting processes of countless businesses and organizations. In addition to co-authoring a whitepaper on the subject, he has spearheaded the development and delivery of a service line dedicated to helping clients implement these important new standards. Through these efforts, he has become a go-to expert in this area of accounting.

Webb’s dedication to accounting and the industries he serves goes beyond his direct work with clients. He is involved with Construction Industry CPAs and Consultants (CICPAC) and is a member of the CICPAC Emerging Leaders Group. He has also regularly given presentations and led discussions of the accounting and business challenges that construction companies and government entities face.   

Webb earned a Master of Accountancy from Stetson University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Management from Daytona State College.
