Our Advocacy

The cornerstone of the Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce is to advocate on behalf of the region’s business community on critical issues at all levels of government – local, state, and federal.

The Daytona Regional Chamber is the voice of the business community. With the strength of over 900 members, representing seventy thousand employees, we offer influence and advocacy to position our community and region for economic growth and success. 

The Daytona Regional Chamber actively develops and promotes policy positions on critical issues impacting our regional business community. In addition, the Daytona Regional Chamber works directly with the US Chamber of Commerce, government, business, and community partners to promote a welcoming business environment and thriving diverse economy to our region.

Advocating on behalf of our business community during the Florida legislative session and following our local cities and counties within our region is key to making this vision a reality. Throughout the year and ahead of the Florida legislative session, the Daytona Regional Chamber creates priorities to ensure our business community is protected and pro-growth agendas are crafted. The Daytona Reginal Chamber largely focuses on five policy areas:
